Nice time here in a cool town. the restaurant is impressive, the food is so tasty! 🍴

Tacky decor with liberal use of brass. The old villa is dominated by a nasty tower block annexe where most of the rooms are, which is an eyesore for the otherwise quite charming marina of Ribadesella. At night a huge horrid and cheap red neon light flashes constantly to advertise Gran Hotel del Sella, this can be seen for miles around from the harbour and old part of the town! I feel sorry for the locals. Rooms quite small and not particularly nice, no air conditioning. dangerous balcony for young children, due to low railing. swimming pool not heated, which is a mistake in Northern Spain as the sea and climate is not much better than that of the Isle of Wight in GB!

Pleasant room with balcony.Plenty of parking space. Right on the seafront, and about 10-15 mins walk into old town, where there are many restaurants.
Use of spa pool very expensive, €18, and no discount given for being a guest in the hotel.

This venue is beautifully designed in a traditional style, located near Paneles de Mingote, with a river and bay nearby.

Helpful staff, some of whom speak English. We stayed on the 4th floor in the new wing, facing the mountains and had magnificent views of the town, river and mountains. From our balcony and large window. You can still see the sea from the breakfast room and public rooms ( where there are English language papers). The hotel is right on the seafront and the main places to eat and drink are a pleasant walk over the bridge to the old town.Plenty of safe street parking ( at least in June) by the hotel. Very peaceful location.
Nothing we disliked!

The location is magnificent and it is next to the main restaurant, great beach, and ocean at night. The staff is always consistently courteous. The rooms are spotless and airy.

It is a very nice hotel with comfortable rooms, on great position overlooking the beach.
There is one big problem with the hotel. There are extremely noisy tractors cleaning the beach every day from 6.00 am and it is suddenly impossible to sleep then. It is not a big help to close the window, because it is not very solid and there is no ac, too. So if you like to sleep during a night, you have to choose for the rooms oriented to the street, what´s rediculous.

Our room was very comfortable, with stunning views across the marina to the town and the mountains beyond. The bathroom and shower in particular was lovely. We found the hotel staff to be efficient and helpful, some spoke Spanish slowly for us, and some spoke English as well.
It was unclear from the hotel details whether the indoor pool and spa were free to hotel guests - they are not. Although the breakfast buffet was very good we were not greeted by staff at the door and at first were unsure what was self-service and what we needed to order.

Staying at this luxurious 4-star hotel was an absolute delight. First of all, the location was simply unbeatable. With direct access to the beachfront promenade, I enjoyed long walks along the breathtaking coastline. The views from both sides of the hotel, towards the sea and the river, were simply stunning. Secondly, the level of service provided here was impeccable. The staff were always friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. The hotel manager even took the time to personally interact with guests, which added a personal touch to the experience. Lastly, I couldn't help but indulge in the hotel's spa facilities. For just 10 Euros, I had access to a large pool with massage jets, Jacuzzis, sauna, steam room. It was the perfect way to unwind and relax after a day of exploring.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay. The amenities and services provided here are top-notch, and the location is unbeatable.
